My Shoes
we will be getting married up in the mountains & outdoors....which means that high heels are not going to be very practical (especially if I'm wanting some pictures in the woods!)...so I decided that flats were the way to go. Since I still didn't have anything for my "something blue" I decided to get blue shoes.
These are "Rocketdogs" shoes (SUPER COMFY!!) and are a thai silk fabric which is exactly what I was looking for!

got my jewelry @ Nordstroms (had a hard time finding something that would compliment the color of my dress...but I think I finally found it! Earrings & a bracelet. No necklace b/c I liked the dangly earrings & didn't want to draw attention away from the sweetheart neckline of my dress
My dress
This is my dress. It is Maggie Sottero Charlene Marie. Its light gold (champagne color) silk satin with a corset back & a chapel train.
My dress...PRE-Alterations
Obviously, I need to get it hemmed, I also need the top taken in just a tad & the waist taken out a bit. Also want to get cups sewn into the dress. I LOVE the color...its kind of a champagne/blush color (much better for my skin tone than the bright white sample that I tried on!!! :-)
Bridesmaid Dresses
I'm only having 1 attendant (my MOH), Lyn, who has been my closest & bestest friend since 3rd grade (20+ yrs). She flew out to CO in May to go shopping & we found this one. We ordered it in the opposite colors (brown dress w/ camel sash) and she looks great in it!!!
