Paula Thomas from Teacup Shop Baker (www.teacup-shop.com) will be doing our wedding cake & grooms cake. The wedding cake flavors are: vanilla cake filled with lemon curd & homemade plum preserves and caramel cream cake with organic apple-pear butter. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! :-)
The groom's cake is a gift for John (who BTW is a STARBUCKS ADDICT and his favorite drink is the caramel macchiato!) The cake will be coffee flavored with caramel buttercream filling. I can't wait for him to see the groom's cake!!
My cake "inspiration" photos are below (Britton&Jim's cake from the knot is our wedding cake inspiration). We will be doing a square cake instead of circular shaped like the picture...but we'll have the same swirl pattern & satin ribbon on the cake tiers. We will have fresh flowers as our cake topper (instead of the tree).
John's groom's cake will be a starbucks coffee cup. I can't remember where I found this picture...but this is our inspiration pic for the groom's cake :)
